Fundraiser – With Reptile Shows of New England!
Join us to help raise money for the Harthan family
Our beloved Alicia Harthan recently passed on January 11th, 2023. She passed while in her home suddenly and peacefully. Alicia was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She leaves behind her daughter Ivory, son Travis, grandchildren Azure and Aurelia, father Randall, mother Crystal, brother Jason and countless Aunts, Uncles, and Friends. Alicia was a loving soul who had a generous and giving spirit. She consistently touched the lives of those around her. Anyone who knew Alicia knew that she was loyal, loving, and supportive. Her passion and tenacity followed her wherever she went. Her personality created a bright spot for all that she interacted with. She could be counted on to share whatever she had and was always there to talk and listen when someone needed advice, help or support. She had recently moved to a new home and started working a new job that she loved.
In addition to our emotional turmoil, we are also facing financial difficulties as we try to give Alicia a proper funeral. The costs associated with a funeral can be overwhelming and we are reaching out for your help. We are trying to raise funds for a simple cremation with calling hours for her friends and family to begin grieving. Her children would find it helpful to have a memorial site with a grave marker to honor their mother. Her kids, grandkids and parents need a place to go and visit her, spend time and share the trials and tribulations of their lives with Alicia over the coming years.
We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Alicia’s funeral. We need to raise $7,000 by Wednesday, January 18th, in order to be able to afford the cremation and funeral service. We need to raise an additional $5,000 to purchase a cemetery plot and grave marker soon after.
We will have several reptiles on display that you can learn about and interact with and touch!
